HARRINGTON, DE – Nanticoke Racing’s LG’s Reed O Wen ($2.80, Jim Morand) won his second straight race in 2:02.1 in preparation for upcoming 2-year-old Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) trotting stakes action Wednesday at Harrington Raceway.

The Anders Bluestone gelding assumed command from rough gaited leader Wolfpack Russ, who broke stride, and opened up a 6-length win in the $8,500 DSBF Eligible event for 2-year-old trotters. Rivers (Corey Callahan) trotted well late to finish second while Spooky Punk (Victor Kirby) was third.

Trained by Les Givens, LG’s Reed O Wen improved to 2-for-3 in his career and will be one to watch in next Wednesday’s (September 22) DSBF $20,000 eliminations.
