Lightning strikes twice at Pompano-$150,000 Pick-5

The huge guarantee was made possible when the Thursday Pick-5 went unsolved as nobody was able to come up with the 1-5-10-1-5 combination, which included a 25 to 1 winner, Muscle High, piloted by Jack Killeen, the 20 year-old driver getting his first win ever at Pompano Park, and a 27 to 1 chance, GD Cruise For Gold, handled by Andy Shetler.

The previous Pick-5 $150,000 guarantee brought over $200,000 in new wagers with 19 astute handicappers enjoying a payday over $10,000 for their 50 cent ticket.

Sunday's program also features a Pick-6 carryover ($2,276) and a Super Hi-5 finale carryover that has ballooned to $72,529.85.
