Live racing resumes at the Meadows

WASHINGTON, PA, April 20, 2022 — Following a week’s break for track maintenance, Hollywood Casino at The Meadows resumes live harness racing Wednesday, April 20.

The 11-race program features a pair of carryovers — $5,840.75 in the final-race Super Hi-5, $4,225.06 in the Jackpot Pick 5 (race 4).

On the racing front, highlights include two $12,500 second-leg divisions of the Ruby Cook Memorial Pace for 3-year-old fillies (races 1 and 4) and the $17,600 Filly & Mare Open Handicap Pace (race 8).

Also on Wednesday, The Meadows kicks off its four-cards-per-week schedule, with live racing each Wednesday through Saturday. Post time is 12:45 PM except for Thoroughbred Triple Crown Saturdays (May 7, May 21, June 11) when The Meadows races begin at 11:30 AM.
