Losers are winners for Roger Plante, Jr.

Harness racing driver Roger Plante, Jr helped a couple horses snap long losing streaks on his way to a three win night on Wednesday at Rosecroft Raceway.

The trotter Dunn Dealin, a 10-yr old Neely Dunn offspring, had been 1 for 18 over the past two years and Plante guided him to a win for owner-trainer Kerry Welty to get his first picture taken in 2021.

Plante followed that up with a win with Rockin The Shades for Welty who was also winless in 2021, but, much more talented than his recent lines showed. Plante secured a win with I Say No More for owner-trainer Ken Schlotzhauer as well.

Jonathan Roberts secured two wins as did Sean Bier. Rosecroft will race Saturday night at 7:15, and be open for wagering on the Preakness Stakes to a limited capacity of fans. Masks are required and all guests are asked to enter through the West Gate entrance.
