Luthers, Hanners, Burke featured in OHHA speaker series

Grove City, OH – The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association (OHHA) will kick off day four of “Five Days in Delaware” on Wednesday morning, Sept. 17, with the Speaker Series featuring special harness racing guests Todd and Greg Luther, Austin Hanners, and Ron Burke.

Presented by Wire to Wire Wealth, the Speaker Series is a half-hour interview show hosted by OHHA Public Relations and Outreach Assistant Ashley Dailey. Held live in the OHHA hospitality tent next to the log cabin at the Delaware County Fairgrounds, the show will also be live streamed on the OHHA YouTube channel.

Trainer Todd Luther and owner Greg Luther, along with driver Austin Hanners, will discuss their Jugette entry, Skywalker Sea, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The Downbytheseaside filly out of Pet Walker has hit the board in 14 of 23 career starts and has $277,300 in earnings.

Afterwards, at 9:30 a.m., trainer Ron Burke will talk about his three Little Brown Jug entries – Louprint, Papi’s Rocket, and D A Love Boat. A Sweet Lou colt out of Rockin Racer, Louprint is 7-for-7 this season. He has hit the board in all 17 lifetime starts with 14 wins and $1,366,712 in earnings.

The OHHA will kick off Wednesday’s 22-race card with Countdown to Post Time, presented by the North American Standardbred Mixed Sale, at 10:45 a.m. The first post time for Wednesday is scheduled for 11 a.m. The card includes two $25,000 Jugette eliminations as races 18 and 19 and will conclude with the $280,000 Jugette.
