HARRINGTON, Del. – Majorca N ($2.40, Corey Callahan) remained unbeaten in 2022 with a 1:55.3 win in the $20,000 Mares Open Tuesday at Harrington Raceway.
Owned by Mike Casalino and trainer Dylan Davis, the 7-year-old Art Major mare surged by leader Divine Deo in the stretch for an impressive triumph to keep her unblemished seasonal record intact. A Delightful Act N was third.
Majorca N’s previous 3 wins this year came at Dover Downs. Davis-trainees have been no stranger to capturing the Harrington feature early in the current meet after winning the Open for male pacers the past two weeks with Shoobee Doo A.
MAJORCA N REPLAY
Driver Tony Morgan notched his 16,997th win in his career aboard She’s No Spinster ($4.40) in the 9th race. Morgan trails only Dave Palone, who is approaching 20,000 career wins, for most wins all-time by a driver. Morgan holds the record at Harrington for most wins in a night with 9 in 2008.
Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule.
