Majorca N takes top mares pace again

HARRINGTON, DE – Michael Casalino Jr. and Dylan Davis’ Majorca N (Art Major) and harness racing driver Corey Callahan were a 1:52.1 winner in the $22,500 Free-for-All Tuesday for pacing mares at Harrington Raceway.

It was the 3rd win in her last 4 starts for the winner, who is trained by co-owner Davis. Majorca N pressed pacesetter Misty Coast, before eventually wearing her down and edging clear in the stretch for her 34th career win. Misty Coast was second with Incaseyoudidntknow third. All of Majorca N’s wins this year have come from post five. She paid $5.00 to win.

Callahan was back in the winner’s circle in the next race with Oakwood Coral IR (Sunshine Beach, $16.60) who prevailed for the second straight start in a $12,000 conditioned pace in 1:54.1.

OAKWOOD CORAL IR REPLAY

Later on the card, J&T Davis’ Need Ur Opinion (Warrawee Needy, $3.20, Allan Davis) won her 5th straight race in a $12,500 claiming event for mares in 1:54.4.

Montrell Teague had 3 wins on the card, while Callahan, Morand, Barton Dalious and Art Stafford Jr. each had driving doubles.
