Manatlas wins $20,000 Harrington open trot

HARRINGTON, DE – Manatlas ($6, Trae Porter, E L Titan) notched his 3^rd win of the harness racing season Tuesday (Aug. 22) with a 1:56.4 win in the $20,000 Open Trot at Harrington Raceway.

Trained by Wayne Givens, the 7-year-old gelding led all the way and held off Lizzy Lauxmont and Quiksilvr Bluechip, who rounded out the top three, in achieving his 15^th lifetime win for owners Legacy Racing, Reggie Hazzard and Gary Callaway.

MANATLAS REPLAY

Driver Cody Poliseno and his father, trainer Carlo Poliseno teamed up with owner Jane Dunavant for a double as Vlahos ($4.40) and Big Daddy D ($3.20) were both victorious. Corey Callahan, Pat Berry and Allan Davis also had doubles.

Live racing will continue Monday and Tuesday next week with a Monday through Wednesday schedule resuming on September 4.
