Mandatory pick 6 payout at Yonkers Thursday

Closing night of the harness racing meet at Yonkers Raceway is coming up on Thursday (December 22), and the ten-race program will include a $2,871.70 carryover and a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick 6. This will be a mandatory payout since there are no additional cards at Yonkers the remainder of the calendar year.

The guarantee in the Pick 6 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick 5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available here. The Pick 6, which begins in race three, has a takeout rate of 20 percent.

Thursday night’s program also has three $33,000 Open Handicaps – a trot in race two, a fillies and mares trot in race seven, and a fillies and mares pace in race eight. Post time is 6:55 p.m. EST.
