Harness racing driver Jim Marohn Jr. had a big day at Harrah's Philadelphia on Thursday (Oct. 6).
The product of Westbury, New York had five driving wins on the program. In the co-featured event of the day, a trotting event for 3 and 4 year olds which have never won 5 races or $50,000 lifetime, Marohn drove Jacob Hartline trainee Bentley Spur to victory.
The 4-year-old gelding by SJ's Caviar stopped the clock in 1:54.3, a lifetime's best.
Bentley Spur is now 6 of 8 in the win column in 2016.
Marohn now has 3,452 career wins, and over $18 million in purses won.
