FORT WASHINGTON, Md. — Trainer Stacey McLenaghan and harness racing driver Corey Braden partnered to win three races on Thursday (Feb. 13) at Rosecroft Raceway, including the featured trot and distaff pace.

The tandem kicked off their hat trick by winning the fifth race, a first-level conditioned trot, with Creekside Pete ($5.00, 1:57). In the ninth, an $8,000 conditioned pace for fillies and mares, Throw The Play ($6.80), whom Braden owns, closed a six-length gap through the far turn to catch the front flight, angled off the pegs above the eighth pole, and vaulted four-wide to reel in 6-5 favorite Kix Hanover by three-quarters of a length in 1:55.2.

Johnathan Ahle led all drivers with four wins on the 12-race card.
