Anthony’s All In, a winner of over $100,000 in his freshmen campaign started off the 2022 harness racing season with a bang Wednesday at Rosecroft Raceway.
The Son of Rusty’s All In, made his three-year old debut a winning one, dissecting a field of seven rivals, in a lifetime best 1:54 in a $10,000 Maryland Sire Stakes Preliminary leg for colts and geldings. John Wagner was at the controls and conditions the now seven-time winner in 11 lifetime starts.
Wagner took a $10.000 division of three-year-old fillies with Lloyds Ladys in 1:56.3. The daughter of Rusty’s All In is now 2-2 in 2022. The other filly division went to Connies All In who held off a fast-closing Baby Doll Jen in 1:55.1. Driver Jared Moyer had had the lines for the filly who is also 2-2 in 2022.
Charlie’s Song and Roger Plante took the $10,000 MDSS division for trotters as she went by the pacesetter, You’ll Never Be Me, in 1:59.3 in the final strides to win her seasonal debut. Steve Le Blanc trains the winner for Glenn Dyke, Count De Money Stable, Le Blanc Racing and William Lutz.
Hoofbeats De Vie and Russell Foster were the class of the group and two year olds and nothing changed on Wednesday night. The Son of Charlie De Vie and the homebred of the Joie De Vie Farm, remained unbeaten in MDSS action, now a perfect 7-7, winning his seasonal debut in 1:57.3. Christopher Lakata trains the gelding whoĀ won $84,540 at age two.
Truth And Liberty won a conditioned event in 1:52, netting her the 65th win of her career. Trae Porter drove the winner for trainer Jason Skinner and the Fairy Horsemother Stable.
Trae Porter and Jonathan Roberts won three races on the night while Russell Foster took a pair on the betting card and one non wagering event. Wagner won three including a non-betting win as did Jared Moyer.
