Meadowlands has host of December events

East Rutherford, NJ – The Meadowlands Racetrack hosts harness racing every Friday and Saturday plus this Thursday, December 5, and Thursday, December 12, with a 6:20 pm post time.

The holidays are the perfect time to give back to the local community, and the track has made that easy with the annual Toys for Tots collection drive. For the seventh year, Quincy Enunwa will be onsite to help collect new, unwrapped toys to donate to SBH Health System. Toys will be collected through Friday, December 13^th at 8:30 pm.

The popular classic rock band The PastMasters will play in Trackside this Saturday, December 7^th. The music begins at 7 pm and runs until 11 pm. Trackside is on the ground floor, and a full bar will be available.

Also on the seventh is the UFC 310 watch party in the 2nd-floor Gallery. Bouts include Pantoja vs Asakura and the main event, Rakhmonov vs Garry Elvis and friends visit the racetrack on Saturday, December 14^th, in the Tribute Spectacular. Ralph Carey performs as Elvis, Russ Davis is Elton John, Nancy Salters is Aretha Franklin & John Cozolino is Billy Joel. Each performer takes the stage for solo (singing all their hits) and combined performances, creating a fantastic, must-see extravaganza. The show takes place on the ground level at Trackside. The show kicks off at 8 pm. The final act ends at approximately 10 pm. Tickets are just $35 and can be purchased at PlayMeadowlands.com.

For Friday, December 20^th and 21^st, the track’s Executive Chef Burnett has crafted an Italian buffet to please any foodie. The menu is $49.95 per person (plus tax & gratuity) and includes chicken Milanese, NY Strip Steak, fried Calamari, tilapia Puttanesca, and penne caprese. Featured desserts include cheesecake, Italian cookies, and tiramisu; for reservations, call 201-The-BigM.

On Saturday, December 28^th, the Meadowlands has Fan Appreciation Night to close the year.  Guests can enjoy $1 hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, soda, and $2 Bud and Bud Light from 6-11 pm. 2025 calendars will also be handed out to the first 1,000 guests.
