Meadowlands kicks off the new year with fun events

East Rutherford, NJ – A new year of harness racing at the Meadowlands Racetrack kicks off this Friday (Jan. 5) & Saturday (Jan. 6) with a 6:20pm post time.

The Meadowlands Winter Meet Survival Challenge powered by 123Racing also starts this Friday, January 5^th.  Cash prizes and Meadowlands swag are up for grabs in this free online competition. The grand prize is $750 plus a Meadowlands swag package. Back again for the Challenge is the monthly $100 winner.  The player with the highest bankroll for each month (January, February and March) will receive the monthly prize. The much-anticipated 2024 calendar giveaway takes place on Saturday, January 6^th. The first 500 guests beginning at 6pm receive a commemorative calendar filled with images of the sport’s greatest horses and drivers in action from the 2023 racing season.

Saturday, January 20^th features a tour of Asian flavors in a five-course dinner that features a cocktail paired to each course! Dinner host, Emily West, New 102.7 midday host will talk about the football games, wagering basics and give out some tips for the night’s harness races. This dinner is only $69.95 per person and includes a live racing program and $10 betting voucher. Get your tickets!
