Big M promo paying off for fans

East Rutherford, NJ – The Meadowlands Racetrack and the New Jersey Standardbred Breeders and Owners continued their 2022 partnership encouraging fans to attend live harness racing in December with a four-week scratch and win promotion.

Racetrack mailing list and Players Club members all received a postcard with four opportunities to win up to $20,000.  Saturday, December 3^rd was the first scratch and win date with Dec 10, 17 and 31 the next redemption dates.

Over $12,000 was given away on promotion night one with three lucky winners walking away with $1,000 including Karen Yorczak of Harrison, New Jersey.

“Thank you so much,” Yorczak said after her win. “This is so unexpected!”

Paul Protomastro of Wood Ridge, New Jersey was ecstatic to be one of two lucky winners of $2,500.

“I can’t believe it.  I never win anything, I thought I would scratch the card off and win $2 or maybe $5,” Protomastro said. “This is a perfect holiday gift!”

Fans that did not receive a scratch and win mailer can still pick one up at the Players Club desk on any Saturday. They must show a valid ID and be 18+.

“We knew this promotion would be a winning one,” said Meadowlands GM & COO Jason Settlemoir. “We can still drive people to the racetrack with worthwhile promotions and events that appeal to both the die-hard and casual racing fans.”
