BACK TO ACTION THIS WEEK

Hollywood Casino at The Meadows returns to action with live harness racing on Wednesday at 12:45pm.  The track now moves into its Fall racing schedule, with racing every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:45pm.  There is one remaining Friday evening card, a special Pink Out night set for Friday, October 10.

FAST SOPHOMORE RETURNS FROM JUGETTE

Time Of The Season, trained by Tim Twaddle for owner Birnam Wood Farms, returns to The Meadows on Wednesday for a non-winners pace, carded as the 3rd on the 13-race card.  Time OF The Season (Bettor’s Wish), finished third in her Jugette elimination and picked up the fifth place check in the final behind winner Rodeo Drive Deo.  Aaron Merriman will drive the sophomore this week.

TROTTERS FEATURED THURSDAY

The $18,000 Open Handicap Trot will headline the Thursday card, with 8 horses drawn in for the 6th race on the 13-race card.  Looks Like Moni, now a 10-time winner on the season, returns to the top level for trainer Tim Twaddle after back-to-back wins in conditioned races.  Longshot, trained by Scott Cox, also makes his local return after five straight starts in Ohio, which included a win in the Aged Ohio Breeders Championship at Delaware during Jug Week.

RECORD-TYING TROTTER MOVES UP

Winslow, the 4YO Swan For All gelding that equaled a track record in just his second Meadows start, will take on the top conditioned level on Thursday afternoon in Race 5.  On 9/13, the Dana Kahrig trainee went wire-to-wire in 1:51.3 in a mid-level trot.  Winslow will take on a field that includes Chapolier, a 15-time winner in 2025.

If you would like additional information at any point, please reach out to track announcer Jeff Zidek (jeff.zidek@pennentertainment.com).
