Meadows Monday Memo

NO LIVE HARNESS RACING THIS WEEK

Hollywood Casino at The Meadows is not racing this week, a planned break in the schedule.

TRACK MAINTENANCE UNDERWAY

Several projects will be taking place this week at The Meadows, including scarification of the track surface.  Additionally, a walking path for horses to get to the new Lasix barn will be created, along with other general backstretch maintenance.  On the grandstand side of the track, a project to expand the winners circle will be completed.

QUALIFIERS RESUME SEPTEMBER 26

The Race Office reminds owners and trainers that qualifying races will be held on Tuesday, September 26 at 10:30AM.  All qualifying races are shown live on Facebook on the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association’s page.

FALL SCHEDULE SEPTEMBER 27

Our next pari-mutuel card will be on Wednesday, September 27, which will be the start of our fall racing schedule.  Action will take place every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons at 12:45PM.
