Meadows Monday Memo

REGULAR HARNESS RACING SCHEDULE THIS WEEK*

Hollywood Casino at The Meadows returns to its usual three-day schedule this week, with racing on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:45pm.

Non-wagering qualifying races, which are usually held on Tuesday mornings, have been pushed back a day this week due to Monday’s snow in Western Pennsylvania.  Qualifiers will take place Wednesday morning, January 8, at 11:45am, prior to the regular race card.  Qualifiers will return to their regular Tuesday date next week.

GUARANTEED POOLS OFFERED AGAIN THIS WEEK

In cooperation with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program and the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association, The Meadows will offer a $5,000 guarantee on the Late Pick4 pool daily this week, which is comprised of the final four races of the day.  Wagering numbers from the first week of the season, which also offered the guaranteed pools, were very encouraging.
