Mandatory Super Hi-5 payout Thursday

WASHINGTON, PA, Dec. 28, 2021 — On Thursday, Dec. 30, the Hollywood Casino at The Meadows card will feature a mandatory payout of the final-race Super Hi-5, where multiple carryovers have lifted the harness racing jackpot to $25,966.40.

Ordinarily, the Super Hi-5 jackpot is paid only if there is a unique correct ticket. However, because Thursday is the final day of the current meeting and carryovers to the next meeting aren’t permitted, all holders of correct Super Hi-5 tickets will share in the spoils. Historically, must-pay situations have generated huge pools.

The Super Hi-5 will be frozen until Thursday’s mandatory payout to assure an exciting event.

Thursday’s Pick 5, Late Pick 4 and final Superfecta also will feature mandatory payouts.
