Driver Mike Merton and harness racing trainer Rob Harmon combined to have a grand slam afternoon including a win with Kilowatt Kid N (American Ideal) during the $11,000 Open II Handicap Pace At Tioga Downs on Sunday (May 14).

In the feature Rebellious (Ridge Warren) grabbed the front and was first to the quarter in :27.3. He used a :29.0 second quarter to be first to the half in :56.3. He was first to three-quarters in 1:23.3.
As they made the turn for home Tuggin On My Heart (Aaron Byron) popped the pocket as Kilowatt Kid N ($10.00) came three-wide. Kilowatt Kid N blew right on by to win in a seasonal best of 1:52.0. Tuggin On My Heart finished second. Cyrus N (Lauren Tritton) was third best.
Kilowatt Kid N is a 9-year-old gelding by American Ideal. He is owned by Michael Spacarelli. It was his fourth win this season and his 19th career victory.

Merton and Harmon got their other wins with Third Edition ($4.20), Coalford Bythesea ($3.70), and Jackie Moon ($2.40).
Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Friday (May 19) with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
