Northfield, OH — Following a power failure caused by electrical issues on Saturday (Sept. 30), MGM Northfield Park is happy to announce that their Sunday (Oct. 1) harness racing program will take place as scheduled beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The carryovers below will be in place from Wednesday’s (Sept.27) program.
The Pick-5 that begins in Race six features a two-day carryover of $23,892 and is estimated to have $100,000 in the pool when all is said and done. The Pick-5 features a $1 minimum investment and a low 14% takeout.
The Pick-6 begins in Race eight, features a three-day carryover of $7,739, and is estimated to have $20,000 in the pool when wagering ends. The 50-cent non-jackpot Pick-6 also features a low 14% takeout.
Saturday’s canceled program has been moved to Monday (Oct.2) with a first post of 6:00 p.m. Horsemen who cannot race on Monday will be provided a judge’s scratch with no penalty, but they must contact the judges at 330-467-4101 ext 52310 between 3:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. prior to Sunday’s card.
