WASHINGTON, PA, Feb. 17, 2022 — Mission Voyage grudgingly released Perlucky well past the quarter, then blew by him in the sloppy stretch to capture Thursday’s harness racing feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,100 Conditioned Trot.
After stretching out Perlucky, Mission Voyage and driver Dan Rawlings confidently pulled the pocket into the final turn.
It proved a winning decision, as Mission Voyage rolled home to defeat Perlucky by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:55.1, with Rising MVP third.
Scott Betts trains Mission Voyage, a 5-year-old Manofmanymissions-Bon Voyage gelding who lifted his career earnings to $119,234, for Tar Heel Racing.
