Mocha Hill receives Ohio divisional honors

Grove City, Ohio – Mocha Hill (What The Hill) was dominant from the start, winning six of nine harness racing contests to secure her place as the 2024 Ohio 2-Year-Old Filly Trotter of the Year.

Bred by Franklin Equine, she hit the board eight times throughout her season, earning $259,742 for owners Burke Racing Stable, Hatfield Stables, Weaver Bruscemi, and Knox Services. Her victories under trainer Ron Burke included four legs of the Ohio Sires Stakes and the Ohio State Fair.

Mocha Hill will be honored at the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Annual Awards Banquet on January 18, 2025, at the Marriott Columbus Airport in Columbus, Ohio. Seats are sold out.

The 2024 Ohio Horse of the Year will be announced at the awards banquet.
