Speed bolt Daamericansky claims another victory  

Monticello, NY— Daamericansky (American Ideal) claimed victory in the harness racing featured pace on Tuesday (Aug. 22) at Monticello Raceway.

Out of the gate, Brandon Parker had Beebeetee going for the early lead on the inside. Favorite Air Guitar was rushing behind in second. At the quarter mile in :27:3, Justin Huckabone rushed Daamericansky to the front to take the lead.

As they came around the stand for the first time, Daamericansky was still in the lead with Air Guitar in the two hole at the half mile in :56:2. Beebeetee followed in third.

It was still Daamericansky followed by Air Guitar and Beebeetee at the third quarter in 1:25:1.

Midway around the final turn, Jim Devaux looked to make his move with Air Guitar with Beebeetee on the inside. Top of the stretch, Daamericansky was homeward bound, Beebeetee went down at the passing lane, closing in. Daamericansky crossed the wire first in 1:54:4. Beebeetee came in second, and Jim Taggart Jr slipped K J Michael in before Air Guitar for third.
