A number of leading harness racing trainers have had their horses come up with positive test in racing commission reports to the USTA.
Melissa Beckwith received a $1,000 fine and a 90-day suspension as two of her horses, Haunted House and Probert both came up positive at Plainridge for Levamisole in the blood system.
Ron Burke received a positive test at Northfield Park with the horse Later Dudes and has been fined $1,000 with a seven-day suspension. It was the second violation in the last 365 days for Betamethasone.
Anthony Swartzentruber received a $1,000 fine for MB Lover Boy coming up positive for Dexamethasone.
