Harness racing driver Tony Morgan made a Thursday (Apr. 27) visit to Rosecroft a winning one as Stunners Wish (Rusty’s For Real, $2.20) took the $25,700 Maryland Sires Stakes for Aged Pacers in 1:53.3
Tim Crissman trains the winner for Crissman Inc.as the son of Rusty’s For Real won for the first time in 2023 and for the 16th time in his career. Anthony’s All In (John Wagner) was second and See Ya Mystery (Bill Long) was third.
STUNNERS WISH REPLAY
In a non-betting, $25,500 MDSS Aged Trot, Hoofbeats De Vie (Charlie De Vie) ran his record to 13-21 lifetime and pushed his lifetime earnings just over $200,000 with a triumph in 1:56. Christopher Lakata trains the winner for Owner-Breeder, Joie De Vie Farm and Russll Foster did the driving.
Jonathan Ahle and Stag Party (Bettor’s Delight) won the $14,000 Preferred over rivals Leonard’s Legacy (Trae Porter) and Fantastic Voyage (Jared Moyer) in 1:51.2. Michael Hall trains the winner for Let It Ride Stable, West Wins Stable, Hutt Racing Stable and Bottom Line Racing. It was one of three straight wins for Hall covering races 2-4. It was one of two wins for Ahle.

Jason Thompson took four races on the night including the $12,000 Open Pace with Precision Blue Chip for Owner-Trainer Courtney Brooks in 1:52.
