Mrmayor Hanover (Explosive Matter) utilized give and go tactics and captured the Open Handicap Trot at Bally’s Dover on Tuesday night.
Mrmayor Hanover and 3/5 harness racing betting favorite Chapheart left together trotting towards the first turn.
Chapheart took the lead at the opening quarter in 28 flat. Mrmayor Hanover left, accepted the pocket then brushed to the lead in front of the stands passing the half in 57.2 (29.2). Chapheart followed the action from the pocket.
The field remained in single file as Mrmayor Hanover continued on an uncontested lead reaching the three quarters in 1:24.4 a 27.2 quarter.
Mrmayor Hanover drew off in the stretch and won by 2 3/4 lengths, trotting the mile in 1:53.4. He paid $5.80 for the win.
Mrmayor Hanover is owned by Sartin Racing LLC of Bear Delaware. Chuck Crissman Jr. trained and Tim Tetrick drove. Chapheart was 2nd and Swan’s Maid finished 3rd.

Tim Tetrick won eight races on the 15 race betting card. One shy of his record 9 wins in 2011 at Bally’s Dover.
There is a $110,000 DSBF Final for 3 Year Old Pacing Fillies as well as the $25,000 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace on Wednesday night.
Bally’s Dover will race Wednesday and Thursday before the traditional Christmas break. Bally’s Dover live racing will be dark December 20-29 and return for live racing on Monday December 30
