East Rutherford, NJ – Harness racing’s biggest stars will battle it out on the track on Saturday, November 25 in the Fanduel Championships & Fall Final Four Finals at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

Over the last few years, retirement ceremonies have become the norm on this night of racing and this year is no different. This year four of the sport’s biggest names – Test of Faith, Bella Bellini, Tattoo Artist, and Confederate will be honored.

Two fabulous mares, Test of Faith and Bella Bellini will receive well-deserved video tributes to commemorate their tremendous career accomplishments.

Test of Faith, the 2021 Horse of the Year earned over $2.4 million including three major Meadowlands wins – the 2021 Breeders Crown Filly Pace, Dorothy Haughton and the Graduate Mares Pace.

Bella Bellini, the 2022 Trotter of the Year earned over $2.1 million and some her biggest scores happened at the Meadowlands.  She dominated the 2021 Hambletonian Oaks, Graduate Mares Trot, TVG Mare Open, the Dr. John R. Steele Memorial and the Six Pack finals.

Tattoo Artist, the great aged pacer, is slated for retirement following his final start in the FanDuel Pace Championship. The 2020 Canadian 3yo Pacing Colt of the Year has earned over $2.7 million and captured the 2023 Canadian Pacing Derby. He will be standing stud in New Jersey in 2024.

The outstanding three-year-old pacer Confederate will also be retiring after he takes on older foes, including Tattoo Artist in the FanDuel FFA Pace Championship.  He has had a dominate year winning nearly every big divisional race this season including the Meadowlands Pace, Cane Pace and Breeders Crown.

Both horses will have retirement ceremonies in the winner’s circle following the race. Plus a limited number of commemorative coasters will also be available for fans at the Players Club Desk following the race.

“We have been blessed to see these talented horses race at the Meadowlands over the last few years,” said Jason Settlemoir, COO and GM of the Meadowlands Racetrack. “It’s only fitting we honor these athletes on one of our biggest nights of racing.”
