Day of Champions draw to take place September 5 at Yonkers

The Agriculture & NYS Horse Breeding Development Fund will host the post-position draw for the annual New York Sire Stakes finals, celebrated as the Day of Champions. The Day of Champions is the premier harness racing championship event for the top 2- and 3-year-old standardbreds in the state, with a chance to compete for enhanced purses.

The 2023 Day of Champions will include eight races and is set for September 9 at Yonkers Raceway. Post time will be 12:15 p.m. Updated points standings for all divisions of the NYSS are available at: www.nysspoints.com.

Tuesday’s draw may be accessed through a livestream on the Yonkers Raceway Facebook page.
