Let It Ride N (Rock N Roll Heaven) continued his winning ways, posting his fifth straight harness racing win Sunday (April 16) with an easy triumph in the $36,000 Open Handicap Pace at Miami Valley Raceway.
With Dan Noble in the sulky, race favorite Let It Ride N got away in fourth place at the start of the 11th race feature. It was Saulsbrook Genesis (Chris Page) who was parked out by Incredible Man but still in the lead at the opening quarter mile in :27.1.
Saulsbrook Genesis then led the field to the half mile in :55.3 and with Velocity Poprocks (Austin Hanners) coming first-over from fifth place, that flushed Let It Ride N and Noble sent him right to the front and they were leading the by two lengths by the three-quarters in 1:22.1. Velocity Poprocks was second on the outside with Incredible Man now in third place.
Down the long stretch Let It Ride N held the field at bay, winning by two and one-half lengths in 1:50. Velocity Poprocks held for second with Incredible Man third.
