HARRINGTON, DE – J &T Davis’ Swan Flyer (Swan For All) with driver Allan Davis had an auspicious Delaware debut as he prevailed in 1:54 in the harness racing featured $22,500 Free-For-All Trot Wednesday (Aug. 28) at Harrington Raceway.
Recently acquired from New York for trainer Tyler Davis, Swan Flyer marched to the lead from post position four and held off a late bid from Gotta Habit and Swan In Motion for his 6th win of the year and boosted his seasonal earnings to nearly $115,000. A 5-year-old gelding, Swan Flyer assumed command from Gotta Habit at the quarter-mile mark and never relinquished the lead en route to achieving his 18th career victory. He paid $12.00 to win.
SWAN FLYER REPLAY
Driver Corey Callahan, trainer/co-owner Dylan Davis and co-owner Mike Casalino, took both halves of the daily double to start the card as both Cowboy Cargo ($2.10) and trotter Darbyshire ($2.10) were easy winners as heavily bet favorites.
Callahan and Allan Davis each drove 3 winners on the card. All of Allan Davisā wins were for his son, trainer Tyler Davis. Tony Morgan recorded a driving double.
