Nicolle Kain joins Harnesslink staff

Harnesslink is pleased to announce that Nicolle Kain has joined the team as one of our new contributors. She will be working closely with North American and European Editor Steve Wolf to help write, edit and post stories to the website and social media.

Originally from the Chicago-area, Nicolle is a fourth-generation horseperson and has grown up in a harness racing family, spending quite a bit of time at the track. Her family has traditionally raced in the Chicago circuit, but has branched out to Indiana, Ohio, and, for the first time this weekend, Minnesota. They also have a small breeding operation.

Nicolle graduated from Purdue University in 2022 with degrees in Marketing and Public Relations and Strategic Communications. She has worked as a newspaper reporter, blogger, writer, and editor for various media outlets. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time outdoors, and planning her upcoming wedding.

“We are very excited to have Nicolle join our team at Harnesslink,” said Steve Wolf. “And I know that Nicolle is very excited to become part of our staff. We expect a lot of energetic and fresh eyes on the sport from her. She has already begun learning our system and writing releases.”
