No Where To Hide (Braxten Boyd) takes the featured $7,800 fillies and mares harness racing pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (July 9). Wally Hennessey gets another grand slam.
No Where To Hide ($23.40) went to the front early but Sweet Young Thing (Wally Hennessey) got the lead just before hitting the first quarter in :27.0. She used a :29.2 second quarter to hit the half in :56.2. Arnie’s Angel (Renaldo Morales III) was first to make a move going first-over as they headed for the final turn. Sweet Young Thing continued to lead and hit three-quarters first in 1:24.2.
As they made the turn for home Sweet Young Thing shook off Arnie’s Angel. No Where To Hide finally got an opening in the stretch and popped the pocket and blew right on by the runner-up Sweet Young Thing to win in 1:53.1. Persistent Bettor (Mike Merton) finished third.
