The 6th race feature got underway on the half mile oval with Nuttin But Finesse defending his rail post position, parking out Opitical Illusion N (Chris Long) and a three-wide Moonshine Kisses (Jay Randall) to the first quarter in :27.3.

Optical Illusion N cleared to the lead, then Moonshine Kisses immediately took command of the race to the half mile in :56.

In the backstretch, Moonside Kisses was still on top, but moving first-over from third was Nuttin But Finesse. They went by the three-quarters in 1:24.

By the top of the stretch, Nuttin But Finesse got by Optical Illusion N and started after Moonshine Kisses. Those two would race neck and neck to the wire with the photo finish camera declaring Nuttin But Finesse the winner by a nose over Moonshine Kisses in 1:52.2. Optical Illusion N was third.

NUTTIN BUT FINESSE REPLAY

It was the ninth win on the year for Nuttin But Finesse, a four-year-old stallion, trained and co-owned by Janice Connor with John Stronka, Scott McGee and Robert Lovett. He paid $9.70 to win.
