Okay One More seeking his third BSS victory

Grove City, OH – The Buckeye Stallion Series wraps up its fourth leg for all harness racing divisions on Tuesday (Aug. 26) as Eldorado Scioto Downs hosts three $20,000 races for freshman colt trotters.

Okay One More wins a division in the second leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for freshman colt trotters

Six of the 11 2-year-old colt trotters who have recorded a win in the BSS this year are entered in the fourth leg.

As the only two-time winner in this group, Okay One More (Dan Noble) is the headliner and opened as the 3-1 second choice in the second division behind slight favorite Uncle Danny (Anthony MacDonald) at 5-2. Jason McGinnis trainee Uncle Danny has two wins and one second in seven seasonal starts with a lifetime best of 1:56.4. The Uncle Peter gelding will leave from the far outside. Triumphant Caviar gelding Okay One More has four wins in five starts this season. The Chris Beaver trainee posted a victory in the second leg at Scioto in a lifetime-best 1:59.3 and added a second BSS win in a dead heat with Come N Get Me in 2:01 in the third leg at MGM Northfield Park. Rudedude L, a winner in the second leg in 1:57.3 in between a pair of third-place finishes in the first and third legs, opened with 9-2 odds. He will be driven by trainer Hank LeVan.

The first and third divisions each feature a pair of winners from prior legs.

Rg’s Juggernaut (Luke Hanners), a winner in the third leg in 1:59, is the 9-5 morning line favorite in the first division and will leave from the far outside. The Long Tom gelding has just two starts this season and is trained by Vernon Beachy. Drivinthrusmoke (Noble) is the 5-2 second choice. Trained by Beaver, the Enterprise gelding has one win and two thirds in five seasonal starts. Long To B Withu, who won a division in the first leg at Bucyrus in a lifetime-best 2:02.2, opened with 15-1 odds and will be driven by trainer Justin Hall leaving from the second tier.

Moon Time Moni (Noble) is the early 2-1 favorite in the third division with 5-2 second choice Super Mind (MacDonald). Trained by Scott Cox, Ready For Moni gelding Moon Time Moni has hit the board once in four seasonal starts, placing second to Rg’s Juggernaut in the third leg of the BSS. Super Mind is a Creatine gelding trained by McGinnis. He will leave from the second tier and has one win and one third in five starts this season. Eckert Hill Brady (Mike Wilder), who won in the opening leg in 2:04.1 and was a runner-up in the second leg, opened with 9-2 odds and will leave from the rail. The Rosy Weaver trainee has five wins and two seconds in eight seasonal starts. Hidden Brook Monty, driven by trainer Ronnie Gillespie, opened with 15-1 odds. He posted a win in the first leg in 2:01.2.

Two-time BSS winner Ready Made is not entered in the fourth leg.

The Buckeye Stallion Series is part of a 14-race card at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Tuesday. First-race post time is 5:45 p.m.
