After split samples returned positive, harness racing trainer Rhonda Brewer has agreed to a one-year suspension and a fine of $1,000 for two of her horses found to have Methamphetamine in their blood system.
The two horses were found to have the Class 1 drug after they competed at Miami Valley Raceway on March 19, 2023.
Two other trainers were both fined $500 for horses having positive tests. They are Joseph Eisenhower (Freehold Raceway) on October 5 for Hydroxydantrolene and Craig Rousculp (Dayton Raceway) on November 14 for Flunixin.
