$225,000 for top race colt on onGait.com

Chase H Hanover p,3,1:49.2s-’21 ($595,537), one of this year’s top sophomore pacing colts, sold to Dana Parham for $225,000 on Monday afternoon at onGait.com.

Consigned by the partnership of Jason Ash and Scott Cox of Ohio, the son of leading sire Captaintreacherous from Calgary Hanover p,2,1:53.2; BT1:51.1 ($406,325) recently finished 3rd in the $600,000 Breeders Crown at The Meadowlands to Perfect Sting and Charlie May after a second-place finish to Perfect Sting a week earlier in his elimination.

In September, he took his career mark winning the $130,000 Jenna’s Beach Boy at Hoosier Park.

Currently in the auction ring are Bettor At Hightide p,3,1:52.4s ($161,546), a Bettor’s Delight 4yr old being offered by Mark Ford; Yankee Roller A p,7,1:50.4f-’21 ($152,852), coming off a win at Yonkers; and Dewtiful’s Grace 3,1:54.4s-’21 ($181,665), who just upset Pub Crawl in the $47,000 Thanksgiving Classic at Hoosier.
