CIRCLEVILLE, OH –- The web-based PDF sale catalog for the upcoming annual Ohio Selected Jug Sale is now available online at the Ohio Harness Horse Breeders website.

The sale is set for Friday, September 13, 2024, at the Pickaway Agriculture and Event Center, Circleville, Ohio with the first horse in the ring at 10 a.m.
In addition, the annual preview Show Day will be held on Thursday, September 12 with food and drink served from 4 to 6 p.m.
This year’s sale will feature 277 yearlings featuring 53 by Summa Cum Laude, 27 by Catch The Fire, 25 by Downbytheseaside, 25 by In Range, 23 by Ready For Moni, 22 by What The Hill, 16 by Long Tom, 11 by Lather Up, 10 by Uncle Peter, 4 by Volstead, and more.
Ohio Breeders president Senena Esty noted, “We are excited to offer another outstanding group of yearlings at this year’s select sale. It’s the event that everyone waits for in the Buckeye State, and all of the consignors are eager to showcase their colts and fillies to Ohio’s owners and trainers.”
For decades, the Ohio Select sale has been the first stop for owners and trainers to acquire top State-bred harness racing performers. This year will be no exception as the Ohio Select sale has sold several million dollar earners and World Champions, hundreds of Ohio Sire Stakes winners and dozens of Super Night Champions.
