Stormy Kromer (Dejarmbro) and harness racing driver Daniel Dube had little trouble leaving from post four and wiring the field at Yonkers Raceway Friday (Oct. 21) evening and scoring with ease to take the $39,000 Open Handicap Trot.
After the start of the 8th race feature, Stormy Kromer cut fractions of :27.3, :57.1 and 1:25.2 before pulling away at the top of the stretch to win by three lengths in 1:53.3. Grey (Jason Bartlett) was second with the pocket-sitting Mississippi Storm (Brent Holland) third.

It was the ninth win on the year for the race favorite Stormy Kromer, who paid $4.60 to win. The eight-year-old gelding is trained by Paul Stafford for owner Thomas Ceraso.
