Cream Ridge, NJ – 3/18/2022 “A Horse of a Different Color”, a fabulous exhibit of equine art by: Donna McCullough, William McNamara, Ruthann Perry and Holly Roberts. The exhibit will be located at the Morpeth Contemporary in Hopewell, NJ from March 19 – April 17, 2022.

This fabulous show of talent benefits the Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF).
The works of Perry and McCullough, both currently horse owners, depict the animals in sculptural works.
Perry’s horses are as diverse as their parts, ranging from heads with button-braided manes to full bodies leaping.
She moved to New Jersey after a prop-making career in New York City, and uses found objects — knobs, chair legs, molds – to create largely wooden horses.
McCullough, a Maryland-based artist and animal lover, works with steel and other metals in her welded pieces. Here, she manipulates metal to at once express the animal’s elegance and strength; her honest faced, reaching horses are translations of their natural form and beauty.

The expo is located at 43 West Broad Street Hopewell, NJ 609.333.9393.
SRF is the only organization providing help of this magnitude for this breed. It is leading the way in other efforts to bring change to how these horses are treated and disposed of. It asks individuals and companies to help get this work done by expressing their interest in this effort by emailing SRFassist@gmail.com.
