Pantaleano nails five winners, Reynolds, Jr. sends out three

Harness racing driver Jim Pantaleano, and trainer Kevin Reynolds Jr, ruled at Tioga Downs on a rare Thursday matinee (August 15).

When the dust settled Pantaleano came away with five winners as three of them came with trainer Reynolds Jr.  They combined for wins with Samosa Hanover, Johnny Chip, and Elysium Seelster.  Pantaleano’s other wins came with Smooch and So Diva.

Forgot Thewallet A (Heston Blue Chip) and driver Ridge Warren charged late to capture the featured $10,000 fillies & mares pace.

In The Spotlight N (Tyler Miller) led to the quarter in :27.2.  She used a :29.1 second quarter to be first to the half in :56.3.  She continued to control things and led to three-quarters in 1:24.1.

As they made the turn for home Forgot Thewallet A ($22.40) came flying first-over and flew right by to win easily in 1:51.3.  Alta Madeira N (Mike Merton) came up to take second.  The Stunning Nun N (Aaron Byron) finished third.

FORGOT THEWALLET A REPLAY

Forgot Thewallet A is a 7-year-old mare owned by Dr. Michael Miller and Rice Racing while trained by Maria Rice.  It was her seventh win this season.  She now has 15 career victories.

Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Saturday (August 17) with a 12-race card starting at 6:15 p.m.  There is no racing on Friday (August 16).
