Plainridge cancels after three due to storms

Plainville, MA — Plainridge Park canceled the live harness racing card after the third race on Thursday (Aug. 15) due to the extremely severe storms that rolled along the Cape and through Norfolk County this afternoon. The unforecasted disturbance provided dangerous lightning, grandstand-shaking thunder and an extended deluge of rain that forced the eventual stoppage of action.

Live racing will resume at Plainridge Park on Monday (Aug 19) with post time at 4 p.m.
