WASHINGTON, PA, Nov. 8, 2022 — Play For Me (Heston Blue Chip-Concerto) zipped to the early lead from post 5 and never relinquished it, earning her second win in only her third lifetime start in Tuesday’s harness racing co-feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $10,900 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.

Challenged first over by Sportytino, Play For Me responded to Aaron Johnston’s urging and prevailed in 1:55.3, 1/2 length better than Sportytino, with the pocket-sitting DT Petlot third. Gary Johnston trains Play For Me for Abigail Right and Grace Wright.

In another of Tuesday’s $10,900 co-features, this also a Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace, Meadows newcomer Lil Char (In Over My Head-Major Philly) found late racing room and powered to a 1:55.3 victory for owner/trainer/driver Brady Jenson. It was the eighth career win for the sophomore Iowa-bred filly. Cutting Humor was 3-3/4 lengths back in second, with Quivers Hanover third.
