For the second straight week, Pleaseletmeknow (American Ideal) proved to be the best in the 3-5-year-old Open Pace at Yonkers Raceway, wiring the harness racing field Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023.
Starting from post five in the $32,000 2nd race feature, Pleaseletmeknow and driver Matt Kakaley shot to the early lead from post fie with Southwind Petyr (Joe Bongiorno) sitting the two-hole trip to the opening quarter mile in :27.
With no one challenging, Pleaseletmeknow continue to cut the mile to the half in :56.2. Then in the backstretch, Sporty M Three (George Brennan) moved first-over but to no avail in gaining ground on the race leader. Following second-over was Ultimaroca (Jordan Stratton).
Pleaseletmeknow led the field past the three-quarters in 1:24.4 and once around the final turn, held the field at bay as he went on to win by one and one-quarter lengths in 1:52.3. Closing from fourth at the top of the stretch to be second was Greg The Leg (Brent Halland) with Southwind Petyr third.

It was the second straight win and sixth of the season for Pleaseletmeknow. The four-year-old gelding is trained by Travis Alexander and is owned and was bred by Fiddlerās Creek Stable. He paid $4.50 to win.
