It was dancing time in the winner’s circle Saturday (Feb. 11) for Dance It Out (Sweet Lou), who was able to make the transfer from the Meadowlands to Freehold Raceway Saturday (Feb. 11) and wire the field in the $12,000 Preferred-Handicap Pace.

With Jim Marohn, Jr. in the sulky, Dance It Out went right to the lead from post three in the 10th race feature and from there the duo never had to look back.

Cutting fractions of :27.4, :57.3 and 1:26, Dance It Out was able to go on to win by one and three-quarter lengths in 1:54.4 over Three In Heaven A (Austin Siegelman) with Kingsville (Steve Smith) third.

Sent off as the generous 2-1 race favorite, Dance It Out paid $7.00 to win. It was the five-year-old geldings second win in four starts so far in 2023.

DANCE IT OUT REPLAY

Trained by Bruce Baker, Dance It Out is co-owned by Vincent Ali, Jr. and Alma Iafelice.
