Pompano Beach, FL…November 10, 2020…Due to the electrical malfunction resulting from Tropical Storm Eta, Pompano Park is forced to cancel the harness racing program for Tuesday (November 10).
Director of Racing Gabe Prewitt said, "the extensive damage caused by the storm and subsequent electrical malfunction cannot be remedied for today. We have exhausted all options and we our confident our generators will be in place for our regularly scheduled Sunday racing program."
There will be a double draw on Thursday for Sunday (November 15) and Monday (November 16) with all entries due by 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12.
Qualifying events are scheduled for Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. and any horsemen wishing to qualify a horse are advised to contact the racing office.
