Positive tests, whipping violations head USTA list

While there are many positive test results in horses this week as reported by the United States Trotting Association, there are also, no less than 15 whipping violations. Two violations are second offenses with a fine of $1,000 and a ten-day suspension for each driver. Some of these violations involve the top drivers in the sport including David Miller, George Napolitano, Jr. and Trond Smedshammer.
