Powered by Mach (Jim Pantaleano) captures the featured $9,500 fillies & mares’ harness racing pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (July 4).

Aint She Pretty (Mike Merton) was first to the quarter in :27.0.  She slowed things down with a :30.0 second quarter and led to the half in :57.0.  Miley Rose (Braxten Boyd) was first to make a move going first-up down the backstretch.  Aint She Pretty was first to three-quarters in 1:25.1.

As they reached the stretch Powered by Mach ($4.40) powered out of the pocket and blew right on by winning easily in 1:54.2.  Vilannah (Tom Merton) was second best.  Aint She Pretty had to settle for third.

Powered by Mach is an 8-year-old mare by Mach Three. She is owned by Fox Racing and trained by Frank Calcagni.  It was her third win this season.  She now has 29 career victories.

Pantaleano, and Dan Rawlings had driving triples.  Cameron Capone and Jose Godinez had training doubles.

Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Saturday (July 5) with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
