“Day of Champions” draw to be live streamed

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Tioga Downs will be livestreaming the post-position draw for the New York Sire Stakes Day of Champions via Facebook on Wednesday, Sept.7. The finals for New York State’s premier harness racing program for 2- and 3-year-olds is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Southern Tier’s Premier Casino Resort.

Wednesday’s draw will begin at 1:00 p.m. and can be accessed through the Tioga Downs Facebook page, and New York Sire Stakes Facebook page here.

“The New York Sire Stakes Day of Champions is the day that many horsemen, owners and fans look forward to,” said Steve Jones, trustee, New York Breeding Development Fund. “We encourage families and friends to watch the draw livestream as we prepare for the most anticipated day of the season.”
