It might have been a short field of six in the $39,000 Open-Handicap Pace at Yonkers Raceway Monday (June 6) evening, but the harness racing action was furious the last half mile of the race.

The 8th race feature saw the race favorite Speed Man N and driver Joe Bongiorno shoot to the early lead with Pat Stanley N (Jordan Stratton) right on their back to the first quarter in :27.3.
Speed Man N took the field past the half mile in :57 as Priceless Beach and driver Yannick Gingras came first-over and then flushed Bee Two Bee (George Brennan) as they raced down the backstretch and past the three-quarters in 1:24.
On the final turn Gringas tipped Priceless Beach three-wide for the stretch drive as Speed Man N looked to have the race wrapped up, but in deep stretch Priceless Beach found another gear and sped by Speed Man N to win by a neck in 1:51.2. Pat Stanley N was third.
PRICELESS BEACH REPLAY
It was the sixth win this year for Priceless Beach. The six-year-old stallion by Sunshine Beach is trained by Jared Bako and owned by 1362313 Ontario LTN of Windsor, ON. He paid $6.40 to win.
